Was doing what we all should be doing: fostering a greater sense of empathy for those around us. We are so worried that we are broken, but examining the brokenness and beauty of others helps us to see the beauty with ourselves. They must listen for all humans

Neil has such a way about interviewing that puts you at ease immediately. His questions were right on with what I had prepared for his show. He was empathetic and caring when I shared about my struggle with OCD. There was no judgement or awkwardness. Overall, it was a great experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Other People's Shoes podcast comes with a unique understanding of what stepping into someone else's story for a while really means. It allows us to figure out why others' behave the way they do based on their beliefs, goals, and intentions. The reward for the viewer, of course, is a healthier and more balanced perspective, as well as a greater ability to resolve conflicts with others. Well done, Neil!

I had a great time. I rarely do interviews with a male host due to my target audience and who they listen to. This podcast was so much fun to record and was a welcomed change to my routine.

Other People’s Shoes is a place to grow our empathy. The host, Neil Matthews is talented when it comes to asking questions that provoke guests to think deeper and bring out the theme of the topic at hand. I was recently a guest on his show and thoroughly enjoyed the experience to chat in a relaxed and meaningful way.

Neil runs a good ship here . Very unique perspective love the approach and concept on his show. I had a great time chatting with Neil! I appreciated Neil's transparency in that he wasn't totally comfortable talking about menstrual cycles which allowed for us to have an open and honest conversation about why this isn't just a woman's issue and how our partners can be more supportive. Neil was a great listener, asked thoughtful questions and his demeanor put me at ease instantly. Although his research may have hinted that I might not be a good fit for his show, his willingness to show up and be curious about who I am, what I do and what moments have left an imprint on me is to be commended. I listened to Neil interview other guests before I became one, and I loved his style. He is the real deal and it's always fun. The whole shoe thing - what style shoe do you wear, or the size...and the game at the end...it's just plain fun. I've been on many podcasts but Neil's curiosity led us into some real unplanned discussion. I had a great time.

Neil is such a great host. Our convo was real and friendly and fun! I have been on other shows where I felt like I was just a number to the host, but Neil doesn't look at it that way. We had a good laugh at each other here and there and the conversation really flowed. I would be a guest again - anytime. To put ourselves in “Other people’s shoes” is a common term for gaining understanding. But I love how Neil literally talks about shoes. Seeing life from other people’s perspective is powerful. Adding in the discussion about their personal shoes takes it even deeper making it more real - creative and fun.
